How it works

Learn the editor

Every tool, shown working. Play each one, then draw on it yourself — these are not pictures of the editor, they are the editor.

Nothing on these pages is a screenshot. Each grid below is the real editor running on twelve squares, so what you see it do is exactly what it does on your own canvas — and it can never go out of date.

How it works

Take the guided tour

Nine steps in the real editor, pointing at the real buttons. Each one waits until you have actually done it, so you finish holding the tool rather than having read about it.

Start here

Four steps from nothing to something you can make.

  1. 1

Pick a craft and a size. The app works out how big the finished piece will be in centimetres.

  2. 2

Draw it, convert a photo, or write a name — or open a template and change it.

  3. 3

Colour it in, one colour at a time, with your progress saved as you go.

  4. 4

Print the chart and take the materials list to a shop, or buy from one that delivers to you.

The big three

Each one is a working tool on its page, not a description of one.
