The chart carries symbols rather than colours, because it is read beside the work, often in bad light, and two near shades are indistinguishable on paper.
The materials list counts every colour and rounds it up to whole packs — beads come a thousand to a bag, floss comes by the skein — so the same design is a different shopping list in each craft.
Take the list to a shop, or use it to compare what a finished kit would have cost. The numbers are the same ones the app used to draw it.
